No one knows the identity of the Saint before the Goddess does. Before being chosen as the Saint, she might have come from the Church, from the Southern Kingdom, the daughter of a Grand Duke, a princess of a certain nation, or perhaps simply the daughter of a fisherman.
This has been the case for every Saint throughout history.
