Pilgrim-ships are the decrepit, overcrowded vessels that carry these masses through the void. Picture a floating slum in space, packed with hundreds of thousands of desperate souls. These voyages are long, grueling, and rife with danger—starvation, mutant uprisings, warp-borne horrors, and the ever-looming threat of heresy.

This is an age of humanity's resurgence! After countless trials and tribulations, a great being known as the Emperor is formally attempting to rebuild the glory of the human race.
